On January 6, 2025, the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 02 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern updating occupational license fees for the Board of Pharmacy to repeal the licensure fees for pharmacies located out of state and for non-resident wholesale drug distributors.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on January 24, 2025, and are effective on February 23, 2025. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 253, April 2025 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
