News Release
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Labor today announced the historic launch of a performance dashboardthat provides the American people with information on the effectiveness of federally-funded Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker programs.
The dashboard includes data from over 550 local workforce development boards nationwide, giving a granular view of WIOA program performance.
"This exciting new tool will help us ensure taxpayer-funded investments in our nation's workers are fulfilling their intended purpose by giving state and local leaders a better understanding of what is working and what isn't," said Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer. "In line with President Trump's executive orders, we will continue shining a light on performance outcomes, so we can be better stewards of Americans' hard-earned tax dollars."
Using the most recently available data aggregated and reported by local workforce development boards, the dashboard shows several program performance indicators from program year 2023, including:
The dashboard also publishes data on total participant count, total participants trained, and the number of participants who are engaged in Registered Apprenticeship programs. Additionally, users can filter performance outcomes by state, or by a specific local workforce development board name or code to refine the results. Public users are also provided with an accessible and downloadable version of the data at the bottom of the dashboard.
The publication of program year 2024 local workforce development board data on the dashboard is expected in late 2025.
