Congressman Gosar Applauds President Trump for Signing H.R. 1043, the La Paz County Solar Energy and Jobs Creation Act

Parker, AZ- Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09), issued the following statementpraising President Donald J. Trump for signing into law H.R. 1043, the La Paz County Solar Energy and Jobs Creation Act, legislation the Congressman introduced to unlock local land for responsible energy development and job creation in La Paz County.

"This is a major win for my constituents in La Paz County. President Trump's signature on H.R. 1043 delivers real results-expanding domestic energy production, creating good-paying jobs, and strengthening local control. This law puts La Paz County on a path to grow its economy while advancing reliable energy. This achievement builds on more than a decade of my related legislative victories, including the 2019 La Paz County Land Conveyance Act, which establishes the county as a regional energy hub.

H.R. 1043 authorizes the conveyance of federal land to La Paz County to further support solar energy generation and energy storage projects, boosting economic opportunity while respecting local priorities.
