PM Spajić welcomes announced EU–UAE agreement: Montenegro is a partner of leading gobal actors

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić welcomed the initiative for signing a trade and economic agreement between the European Union and the United Arab Emirates.

As President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced, the goals of the agreement include strengthening relations with the UAE, liberalizing trade in goods and services, and increasing investment flows. According to Prime Minister Spajić, this initiative affirms the Government's commitment to deepening relations with the world's most influential actors.

We welcome the initiative to establish a new trade and economic agreement between the EU and UAE, launched by His Highness President Mohamed bin Zayed and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Prime Minister Spajić posted on X.

With the signing of the bilateral agreement with the UAE, Montenegro has demonstrated that it is a reliable and credible partner of the world's leading global actors. It is now up to us to implement major projects and deliver the future Montenegro deserves, he added.
