Sutter Health Recognized in Anthem Blue Cross Annual Care Provider Recognition Program

Not-for-Profit Healthcare System's Medical Groups Honored Among the Top Healthcare Providers in Anthem's National Network

NORTHERN CALIF. - Sutter Health today announced it earned recognition as one of only four California recipients in Anthem Blue Cross' Care Provider Recognition Program. Developed in collaboration with Anthem's affiliated health plans, the program honors top-performing medical groups nationwide for delivering high-quality patient care.

Sutter Health was selected for recognition based on key health measures for care delivered to Anthem members. These metrics include preventive care screenings, immunization rates, chronic disease management, medication adherence and several other health outcome measures.

Fewer than 1% of care providers in Anthem's network qualified for the Care Provider Recognition Program.
