St. Joseph, Mo. - Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will complete a sidewalk improvement project in Princeton and South Lineville. The project was scheduled to begin today, Monday, April 27 along U.S. Route 136 in Princeton, but has been delayed until Wednesday, May 20 due to contractor schedule changes.
An updated project schedule will be provided at a later date. The project to help ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), funded in part through the Transportation Alternatives Program, will improve sidewalks along Route 136 and U.S. Route 65 in Princeton and Route 65 in South Lineville.
Traffic Impacts: Some lane closures will be necessary throughout the project. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow all traffic control, flaggers, signs and barricades. All vehicles and personal property will need to be removed from the work area prior to start of construction.
Following sidewalk construction, signing, pavement marking and handrail installation will take place.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
