Recreation Preschool Registration Open

Morgan Hill Recreation Preschool is a play-based preschool at the Community and Cultural Center, located at 17000 Monterey Road on the corner of Monterey and Dunne. Morgan Hill Recreation Preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment for your child's first school experience.

Our teaching team introduces hands-on learning opportunities through art, music, language, reading and math readiness, and motor-skill activities. We will help your child develop social and academic skills to prepare for success in Kindergarten and beyond!

2025 Preschool Camps

Our preschool team provides a fun and enriching camp day with an emphasis on developing social skills through play and creative learning experiences. Children will participate in songs, Storytime, water play, free choice play, music and movement games, and art exploration. A calendar of activities will be emailed to registered participants the week before camp begins. All children must be potty trained.

2025-2026 School-Year Registration is Open - NOW ACCEPTING 2.5 YEAR OLDS

First month's tuition fee (September) is due upon registration. The first month's tuition fee secures your child's spot for the 2025-2026 school year. Preschool tuition will be charged on the 1st of each month starting in October. During the enrollment process you will be asked to save a card on file and acknowledge that your card will be charged the 1st of every month (beginning October 1, 2025). Birth certificate, immunization records and emergency contact form will be required to be uploaded by August 1st. You may log in after registration to complete the required documents.

Preschool Classes

Pre-K Combo (Ages 2.5-5); Age 2.5 by September 1, 2025

The Pre-K combo class provides an enriching play-based learning environment in a mixed age classroom. This class will develop children's social skills, nurture their imagination through play and creative exploration, develop language, pre-reading, and writing skills, and expose children to age-appropriate science and math concepts. Activities include free play, circle time, stories, outside play, music and movement, and art.

*We offer a 5 day a week morning option (8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.). If interested in 5 days a week, please register for both of the morning sessions (PRE001 and PRE002).

Potty Training

Children are required to be potty trained by the start of preschool. Our classroom does not allow any diapers, pull-ups, or training underwear. If you are concerned about potty training or have questions, please call Andrew Aguilar, Community Services Supervisor, at 408-310-4282.

Preschool Cancellation Policy

During the school year, preschool cancellations require 14 days' notice. Preschool cancellations for the first month of the school year (September Tuition) must be received on or before July 1st to receive a refund, minus a cancellation fee of $100. Cancellation notices received on or after July 2nd will forfeit all monies paid to date.
