On September 10, 2025 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich, received copies of Credentials of the ambassadors of Niger and Mali.
During the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Issa Abdou Sidikou, promising areas for the development of bilateral dialogue were discussed, including trade and economic relations, education, formation of a legal framework and creation of intergovernmental coordination mechanisms for cooperation.
With the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mali to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Seydou Kamissoko, the parties exchanged views on intensifying contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries, establishing cooperation in the field of food security, and the training of Malian citizens in higher and vocational education institutions in Belarus.
The interlocutors confirmed their commitment to long-term cooperation in a bilateral format and on international platforms in the interests of our friendly peoples.
