Advisory Commission on Aging - two vacancies
The Advisory Commission on Aging supports, leverages, and advocates for programs and resources that protect and ensure quality of life for St. Petersburg's aging community. The Commission's vision is a community where seniors can receive the services and resources needed to live a safe, independent and dignified life.

Arts Advisory Committee - two vacancies
The mission of the Arts Advisory Committee is to support and encourage the diverse artistic and cultural activities within the City that will meet the artistic and cultural needs of the community and its varied citizenry. The Committee works to promote these goals to benefit the citizens of the city, to ensure that attention is given to fostering and stimulating new and emerging arts and cultural expressions, and to preserving the multicultural and multiethnic nature of art and culture in the city.

Community Planning & Preservation Commission - one vacancy
The Community Planning and Preservation Commission makes decisions relating to the City's comprehensive plan, including land use and zoning maps, and historic preservation. The Commission is comprised of citizen volunteers, some of whom are required to have experience in the fields of architectural design, architectural history, land use planning, land use law, construction, and real estate.

Development Review Commission - one vacancy
The Development Review Commission (DRC) evaluates and acts on the development proposals within the city in order to ensure compliance with the Comprehensive Plan, zoning ordinance, and other appropriate City regulations. The DRC acts as the Land Development Regulation Commission to review and evaluate proposed modifications.

Nuisance Abatement Board - one vacancy
The Nuisance Abatement Board hears and decides cases involving properties in the city allegedly being used for illegal activity. This Board plays an important role in reducing crime and improving the safety and welfare of St. Pete citizens and visitors by encouraging property owners to take responsibility to prevent their properties from becoming the site of ongoing nuisance activities.

Public Arts Commission - one vacancy
The mission of the Public Arts Commission is to expand public experience and exposure to culture through various art forms, enhance the appearance of public facilities, improve the aesthetic environment of the city on behalf of its citizens, and provide for the incorporation of art in the design and construction of public facilities within the city.

Social Services Allocation Committee - two vacancies
The purpose of the Social Services Allocation Committee is to promote the health, economic, and social well-being of residents of St. Pete. The Committee reviews applications for Social Action Funding Grants and makes recommendations to City Council for funding.
