Yokogawa Employee Receives SICE Award (2025)

Tokyo, Japan - October 1, 2025

An employee of Yokogawa Electric Corporation received the International Standardization Award: Encouragement Prize from the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE)* on August 29.

International Standardization Award: Encouragement Prize

This award is given to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions through the development of new proposals for international standards in those fields in which SICE is engaged.

  • Reason for winning the award
    For many years, Mr. Endo has contributed to the international standardization and dissemination of the Ethernet-APL next-generation communication technology in the process automation field. Since 2018, he has been the sole Japan member of the APL Project and has contributed not only to the formulation of specifications but also leveraged his expertise in intrinsic safety and EMC compliance for the IEC standardization of related regulations. In addition, he has striven to promote this technology through seminars both in Japan and overseas. The award recognizes these achievements.
