Bismarck, N.D. - The stunning landscapes of North Dakota, along with its lively culture and varied wildlife, provide endless photo-taking opportunities. The NDFB Promotion and Education Committee is excited to announce the start of its annual photo contest.

With a submission deadline of September 1, participants are invited to showcase their creativity and talent through their photography skills.

Guidelines for the contest are as follows:

  • Each participant may submit up to three photo entries.
  • Photos must be submitted without watermarks.
  • By submitting a photo, participants grant NDFB the right to utilize it in promotional materials.

This year's contest will feature three distinct categories:

  1. Animals
  2. Crop/Landscape
  3. Lifestyle

Winners will be selected from each category, and each recipient will receive a prize of $300.

An overall winning photo, selected by a panel of judges, will be featured in a canvas print. This print will be auctioned during the NDFB Promotion and Education live auction, set to take place in Bismarck during the NDFB Annual Meeting in November. Proceeds from the auction will go toward NDFB scholarships.

This year will additionally showcase a People's Choice winner. Please stay tuned to NDFB's Facebook page for more information.

To enter the contest, participants are required to email their submissions to Joey Bailey at joey@ndfb.org. Along with the photo, entrants must declare the category in which they wish to participate.

The NDFB Photo Contest provides an opportunity for North Dakotans to showcase their talents while celebrating the state's natural beauty and cultural richness.
