University Hospital’s Weight Management Center Earns National Accreditation for Weight Loss and Metabolic Surgery

Hospital recognized for providing high-quality, life-changing weight loss surgery and medical management for patients in the Newark area

Newark, NJ: University Hospital today announced that its Weight Management Center has earned accreditation as a Comprehensive Center from the American College of Surgeons Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), recognizing the hospital's commitment to providing safe, high-quality, multidisciplinary surgical care to patients affected by obesity and related metabolic health conditions.
