FOOD, FUN, AND FIERCE COMPETITION: THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE COMES TO NEWPORT NEWS

Food trucks are rolling in, cameras are turning on, and Newport News is turning up the heat.

Newport News, VA - The Food Network's renowned Great Food Truck Race is making its way to Newport News, bringing an exciting blend of food, competition, and entertainment to the heart of our community. This iconic culinary event, famous for showcasing talented food truck chefs and their mouthwatering creations, will feature a series of thrilling challenges and provide local food lovers with the opportunity to experience some of the best mobile eats from across the country.

"We're excited to welcome The Great Food Truck Race to Newport News and offer our community the chance to experience the thrill of this culinary competition," said Mayor Phillip Jones. "This event highlights the creativity and talent of food truck chefs, while also celebrating our city's vibrant food culture."

The Great Food Truck Race will take place in two popular locations. On Monday, April 7, food trucks will be stationed at Port Warwick, offering a diverse array of food options. Then, on Tuesday, April 8, the action moves to Victory Landing Park. The event is open at both locations from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days, providing ample time for visitors to sample the delicious dishes and enjoy the event.

The Great Food Truck Race event is free to attend, with food trucks offering a wide range of mouthwatering options for purchase. There will be something to satisfy every taste bud. Attendees can enjoy a dynamic atmosphere filled with entertainment and the excitement of the race itself.
