London, UK - 1 September 2026: Element Materials Technology ("Element") has appointed Rob van Dorp as Vice President, Europe for its Consumer & Industrials Business Line, further strengthening its leadership in regulated product market access.

Reporting into Fabian Schober, Chief Operating Officer, Element Consumer & Industrials, in his new role van Dorp will have responsibility for leading product testing and certification, environmental testing services and consumer electronic testing across Europe.

With extensive experience in the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) sector, van Dorp brings a strong track record of leading complex, multi-site businesses across Europe and beyond.

Most recently, through Elevation Advisory Services, he held interim leadership roles with various players in the international TIC sector. Before that, he served as Managing Director at Eurofins, where he held significant P&L responsibility across 20 sites and more than 1,800 colleagues. Prior to Eurofins, van Dorp spent more than 14 years at Intertek, including as Chief Executive, UK & Ireland, where he delivered strong growth across industries including energy, medical devices, automotive, industrials and consumer goods.

Based in the UK, van Dorp holds a degree in Economics from Cambridge University.
