On September 20, at Anko-Invest Limited Liability Company, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, also remotely commissioned 11 facilities of various purposes that were constructed in Bobojon Ghafurov and Spitamen districts with the contributions of government authorities and local entrepreneurs.
A mineral composite panel manufacturing plant belonging to Zartakhta LLC, which has created 30 jobs; the private Durakhshi Istiqlol preschool educational institution, designed to educate and raise 240 children; the Haftkalon sports hall with 50 seats; and the Marhabo sanatorium with 30 beds, located in Ghafurov Township and the Yova, Ghoziyon, and Unji rural communities of Bobojon Ghafurov District, were built as part of development and improvement initiatives dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The implementation of such commendable initiatives will ensure the further development of industry, education, healthcare, and sports in local communities.
During the presentation of the facilities' capabilities and the conditions created, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that over the past five years, a total of 2,745 facilities of various purposes had been commissioned in the center and rural areas of Bobojon Ghafurov district through the contributions of government authorities, dedicated entrepreneurs, and the local population involved in development and construction. As a result, 137 percent of the previously planned target was achieved.
In Navkat Township and the Tursun Uljaboyev, Kurosh, and Istiqlol rural communities of Spitamen district, seven additional facilities were remotely commissioned. These included Preschool Educational Institution No. 6, accommodating 300 children; a medical clinic with 10 offices; the building of the Department of Education; the Sharayoni Varid Diagnostic and Treatment Center, with 26 beds and 70 jobs; Secondary School No. 13, designed for 1,350 students studying in two shifts; a health center with 13 offices; and the Muhayyo footwear and garment production workshop, which has created 40 jobs and has a monthly production capacity of 1,500 pairs of shoes and 6,000 garments.
According to officials, since 2022, more than 800 facilities of various purposes have been commissioned in Spitamen district following construction and renovation. Development and improvement work is currently ongoing, and comprehensive plans and programs are being implemented to provide residents with suitable conditions for work and daily life.
More than 300 people have been provided with permanent employment at the 11 facilities that the Head of State remotely commissioned in Bobojon Ghafurov and Spitamen districts.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, instructed the relevant officials to further strengthen development and improvement efforts in local communities. In this context, he called for the expansion of roads, installation of street lighting, landscaping and greening of the surrounding environment, as well as the construction of water supply, sewerage, electricity transmission, and heating networks in accordance with modern requirements and standards to ensure the comprehensive development of essential infrastructure.
