DALLAS - As graduation season comes to a close, Dallas ISD is honoring the achievements of the Class of 2026, and the thousands of graduates who crossed the stage ready to begin their next chapter. Ceremonies capped off a remarkable year marked by academic excellence, college acceptances, and over $528 million in scholarships earned by seniors across the district.

BOMLA seniors achieve 100% college acceptance rate
Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy at A. Maceo Smith is celebrating a remarkable milestone, with all seniors achieving a 100% college acceptance rate and earning $15.4 million in scholarships. The 54-member graduating class includes students headed to various prestigious universities and represents the second-highest scholarship total in school history. The achievement reflects the academy's commitment to developing young men who are prepared to lead, succeed, and thrive beyond high school.

ICYMI: Dallas ISD to begin summer hours
As a reminder, Dallas ISD central offices will be closed Friday, June 5 as the district has transitioned to a summer schedule. During this time, district offices will operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and will resume regular work hours Monday, Aug. 3.
