Amador County

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Argonaut Lane to Empire Street for tree work beginning Monday, June 9, 2025, through Friday, June 13, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Bush Street to Main Street/Plymouth Shenandoah Road for highway construction work beginning Thursday, June 12, 2025, through Friday, June 13, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work beginning Sunday, June 8, 2025, through Friday, June 13, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Dew Drop Road to Cooks Ridge Road for tree work beginning Monday, June 9, 2025, through Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Peddler Hill Road to Tragedy Springs Road for drainage work beginning Monday, June 9, 2025, through Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Peddler Hill Road to Tragedy Springs Road for drainage work on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 15-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
