In November, Pete LeFevre, NATCA's Eastern Alternate Regional Vice President and a member at Dulles ATCT (IAD), and Arianna Bocci from Washington Center (ZDC), proudly represented NATCA at the Aviation Education and Career Expo in Hagerstown, Md.
The one-day event, designed for high school and college students aged 16-22, showcased the broad array of career opportunities within aviation and aerospace. LeFevre and Bocci engaged with students at NATCA's booth, sharing insights into the critical, behind-the-scenes roles in air traffic control and aviation safety.
The Expo, which featured industry leaders, vendors, aircraft displays, guest speakers, and hands-on demonstrations, also provided attendees with access to scholarships and internships. NATCA's participation aimed to educate students on the exciting possibilities within aviation and help them envision pathways to fulfilling careers.
