8 pm Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Eve - Join us at Poplar Grove Shelter for some holiday jeopardy! Kick off the holiday weekend by testing your Christmas knowledge with fellow campers.

Saturday, July 26th

All Day Over the River and through the Woods - Begin your journey at the Camp Store to pick up your word scramble, then take a walk along our StoryWalk and see if you can decode our hidden message among the pages. Once you decipher the message, stop by the Camp Store for a tasty treat! Our StoryWalk begins at the Spillway Parking Lot and is located along the easy side of Red Springs Loop trail. This trail is approximately 1 mile down and back.

1 pm Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow - When the temperatures drop and the cold winds blow, humans have a variety of ways to adapt to the chilly weather, but what happens to our lake life in the winter? Find out how animals above and below the water's surface adapt to the seasonal changes. Meet at Poplar Grove Shelter.

3 pm All I want for Christmas is Cold-Blooded Creatures - Join us at Poplar Grove Shelter to visit with some of our resident reptiles and amphibians and discover why we only see them in the warmer months.

5 pm Jingle Bingo - Join us for a festive game of bingo at Poplar Grove Shelter.

7 pm Rockin' Around Poplar Grove! - Join us at Poplar Grove Shelter for the Christmas party of the summer! Decorate cookies, design an ornament, compete against fellow campers on our holiday obstacle course (you will get wet), and visit with Timberdoodle the Elf to write your letter to Santa! We will also be hosting an ugly holiday T-shirt contest during the party! Wear your wackiest festive T-shirt for a chance to win.

8 pm Here We Come A-Campsite Judging - Campsite decorations will be voted on by YOU, our campers! Campers will be walking around the campground to select our most merry campsites. You will be provided with 2 ballots per campsite when you check-in. Return your completed ballets to the Camp Store no later than 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. Free Camping will be awarded to the top three campsites! Winners will be posted at our Camp Store on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.
