Submit Written Comments for the Draft 2025–2035 Kissimmee River Management Area General Management Plan
The South Florida Water Management District (District) is encouraging our partners, stakeholders and the public to provide written comments on the Draft 2025-2035 Kissimmee River Management Area General Management Plan.
This ten-year plan will guide the District's management of the Kissimmee River Management Area, including land stewardship, public use opportunities, infrastructure maintenance, and natural resource protection. The management area includes lands within the Kissimmee River floodplain across portions of Polk, Osceola, Highlands, Glades, and Okeechobee counties.

The deadline to submit comments is Friday, January 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. All comments must be emailed to [email protected].
