Arvest is offering a Disaster Relief Loan Program aimed at helping customers impacted by the government shutdown.

The Program is specifically designed to provide quick access to funds during this challenging time. This loan is available until Nov. 21, 2025, and subject to credit approval*.

To learn more and apply, call us at (888) 812-7407, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. CT.

*Subject to credit approval. Disaster Relief personal loans are unsecured, consumer-purpose loans available to new and existing customers, who reside in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri or Oklahoma. Loans are limited to balances from $500 to $10,000. No payment due for first 120 days; however, interest accrues during this time. Your loan payment will be calculated based on your interest rate, initial loan amount and 60-month repayment period. For example, a $5,000 loan amount with a 7.75% annual percentage rate (APR) would require 60 monthly payments of $102.08. Auto-debit interest rate discount of 0.25% is available and must be set up at time of loan. Offer valid through Nov. 21, 2025. Offer subject to change. New loans only; refinances or renewals of Arvest loans do not qualify.

Protect Yourself: Tips to Avoid Scams

Scammers may target potential victims by exploiting uncertainty surrounding a government shutdown. Here are some ways to avoid a scam, according to the Identity Theft Resource Center:

  • Be alert for impersonation scams. Fraudsters claim to be from government agencies, companies or financial institutions. The goal is to trick you into providing them personal information they can then use to steal your identity or cause financial loss.
  • Watch for job scams. Job seekers may be contacted by impersonators or find phony job listings on job posting platforms or social media. Identity criminals are asking job seekers for sensitive personal information, such as driver's license information and Social Security Numbers.
  • Never click on links in unexpected emails or texts. If you're not sure if a message is real, contact their business or agency directly using only a verified contact method.

Know what we will never do:

  • Ask you to provide your personal info via a text message or an unsecured email.
  • Send you a link or contact you out of the blue to ask for personal info like account numbers, PIN codes, passwords, birthdates, or full social security numbers.
  • Pressure you to act quickly or threaten to close your account.

If someone claiming to be from Arvest contacts you out of the blue and is pressuring you for personal info, to act quickly or threatening you, it's likely a scam. Don't respond; instead, contact us at (866) 952-9523 or [email protected] .
