Murrieta: The Next Frontier for Industrial and Business Growth

Murrieta is on the rise as a premier destination for industrial and business development in Southern California. With over 2 million square feet of business park space already thriving, the city is building on a strong foundation of innovation, connectivity, and opportunity.

The next chapter of Murrieta's growth centers along the Jefferson-Madison corridor, where approximately 10 million square feet of land zoned for innovation and business parks awaits future development. Spanning over 220 acres, this area is perfectly positioned for forward-thinking companies ready to grow in a market built for success.

To accelerate this momentum, the City of Murrieta is investing approximately $16 million in vital infrastructure-enhancing electricity, sewer, and water access to unlock the site's full potential. These improvements will serve as a catalyst for new business, expanding opportunities for employers, developers, and the community alike.

In addition, the Jefferson Improvement Project, led by Western Water in partnership with the Rancho California Water District (RCWD), will install a new one-mile pipeline and two interconnections along Jefferson Avenue. This collaboration will strengthen water reliability and further support Murrieta's growing business base.

With industrial vacancy rates at just 3%, business park at 4%, and office at 4.4%, Murrieta's market is strong and in demand. Companies here benefit from a highly educated workforce, direct access to the I-15 and I-215 freeways, and proximity to Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego-all while enjoying a community known for safety, innovation, and quality of life.

Murrieta is more than a place to do business-it's a place to thrive. With strategic investments, abundant opportunity, and a business-friendly approach, the City continues to pave the way for the region's next generation of industrial and economic success.
