Energy Efficient Homes Coming to The Cove at Sparrows Point Country Club

BALTIMORE, Md. - April 20, 2025 - Beazer Homes, the nation's leading energy efficient builder*, is opening The Cove at Sparrows Point Country Club, its newest community in Baltimore. The builder's latest neighborhood will be comprised of 193 townhomes, 60 single family homes, and 53 villas. All homes in this community will be built to the rigorous standards established by the Department of Energy's Zero Energy Ready HomeTM program.

Future homebuyers and real estate agents are invited to the community grand opening on Saturday, April 26th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Homebuyers will have the opportunity to view the newly completed model townhome.

The Cove at Sparrows Point Country Club will release for sale starting with 104 three-story townhomes ranging from 1,961 to 3,003 sq. ft. with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms per home. Located in Baltimore County, The Cove at Sparrows Point Country Club provides new homeowners with an active lifestyle beyond the bounds of most standard new construction in the area. Featuring amenities designed inspire more time outdoors, the community is enhanced by waterfront views and a 18 hole championship-style golf course.

"At Beazer Homes, we prioritize innovative, energy efficient designs in every home we build," said Chance Hall, division president for Beazer Homes in Maryland. "The Cove at Sparrows Point Country Club presents the premier, waterfront community that centers the well-being of our homeowners and their families. Our high-performance homes help homeowners save on energy costs, enjoy healthier indoor air quality, and experience greater overall comfort. We are excited to build homes that enhance the way our future homeowners live."

For more than 30 years, Beazer has been a leader in building homes ahead of current standards and beyond expectations. Beazer was the first U.S. national homebuilder to publicly commit that by the end of 2025, every single-family home build will meet the requirements of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Zero Energy Ready Homes program. According to the DOE, the program incorporates building science innovations and practices to achieve at least 40-50% greater efficiency than a typical new home. DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes are verified and certified by a qualified third-party inspector.

Additionally, all homes in The Cove at Sparrows Point Country Club are ENERGY STAR® certified and Indoor AirPlus® qualified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Behind the walls of each Beazer home are innovative, energy efficient features to improve home performance and maintain ideal temperature, giving homeowners control over their comfort. Each home is designed to filter indoor air, which reduces outside pollutants like mold and toxic chemicals. This means living with improved air quality and comfort.
