Brookridge Avenue to Close Monday
AMES, Iowa -Brookridge Avenue from Park Way to Ridgewood Avenue will close on Monday, Sept. 23 for pavement removal and replacement and underground improvements, weather permitting.
Following pavement removal, work will begin on underground improvements. After completion of the underground improvements, pavement replacement will begin. The closure is expected to take four to six weeks.
Ninth Street will remain closed from Ridgewood Avenue to Northwestern Avenue. A small section west of the Ridgewood Avenue intersection will close for minor work.
Motorists should be aware of construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling through the construction area.
