Support for Ukrainians and Deeper Cooperation: Meeting Between the President of Ukraine and the President of Austria Begins in Vienna

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska began their official visit to Austria by meeting with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and First Lady Doris Schmidauer.

Following the joint meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Van der Bellen will hold both one-on-one and expanded-format discussions on continued support for Ukraine, deeper cooperation across various sectors, and the involvement of Austrian businesses in our country's post-war reconstruction.

The leaders will also address humanitarian demining, energy restoration, food security, and the construction of shelters.

A separate focus of the talks will be the return of Ukrainian children who were illegally deported and forcibly transferred by Russia. Additionally, the parties will discuss the children's continued medical treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery.
