LACERS OFFICES CLOSED ON FRIDAY, JUNE 19TH

City Holiday: LACERS is closed on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth.

LACERS COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT EFFECTIVE JULY 1

Each year, the LACERS Board approves Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLAs) for Tier 1 and Tier 3 Retired Members and beneficiaries based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Los Angeles area during the previous calendar year. The COLA becomes effective July 1st of each year.

Visit our Cost of Living Adjustments webpage for more information on the COLA increase and the availability of any banked excess. Retirees and Beneficiaries will receive the increase on their July 31st paycheck.
