Gov. Braun Makes Judicial Appointment to Harrison Superior Court
INDIANAPOLIS - Governor Mike Braun today announced he has made a selection to fill a vacancy on the Harrison County Superior Court.
Judge Joseph Claypool of the Harrison County Superior Court will retire on September 8, creating a vacancy that will last less than four months.
The Governor is appointing Joshua Otto Schalk - the current Harrison County prosecutor - to the Superior Court.
Schalk currently serves as Harrison County prosecutor. He has been elected prosecutor for four terms, having been first elected at the age of 25.
