Paralyzed Veterans of America Unveils Gala Advisory Committee Featuring Top Leaders from Penske, Target, L’Oréal, and Moore Group

Nine-member board to garner philanthropic support of PVA's mission and One of One Gala in NYC September 9

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Sept. 24, 2026) - Paralyzed Veterans of America today announced the formation of its Gala Advisory Committee - a coalition of nine distinguished supporters and executives in racing, retail, beauty, and marketing who bring unparallel expertise, decades of experience, and business acumen to PVA. On a mission to advance PVA's upcoming One of One Gala, which takes place September 9, 2027, in New York City, each advisor shares a personal connection and commitment to PVA, its members, and the greater disability community.

"PVA was founded 80 years ago on the belief that we look out for each other and that belief remains just as true today," said Carl Blake, U.S. Army veteran and CEO of Paralyzed Veterans of America. "PVA's Gala Advisory Committee expands that belief system with corporate leaders and supporters who not only live by that same philosophy but have also built a legacy of making a difference. Their alignment, expertise, and influence on purpose-driven nonprofits, like PVA, will help elevate our One of One Gala, while simultaneously advancing our mission."

The Committee will meet regularly throughout the year and play a vital role in introducing more people to PVA's unique mission. It will also strengthen and grow its corporate partnerships, and ensure its worldwide impact continues to flourish.
