Before the vote, Cassidy delivered remarks in support of the nominations. His speech as prepared for delivery can be found below:

The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions will please come to order.

President Trump is focused on delivering the most pro-worker administration in history. To do this, he needs officials with strong experience and a commitment to put workers first. The nominees before us are aligned with the President's vision.

If confirmed to the National Labor Relations Board, Mr. Jim Murphy and Ms. Crystal Carey will prioritize workers and ensure their rights are protected under federal law. They will restore stability for both workers and employers, and work to clear the backlog of cases left by the Biden administration.

As Assistant Secretary for Policy at the Department of Labor, Mr. Rosario Palmieri will work with Congress to modernize the Department of Labor, creating greater flexibility for states to administer workforce programs.

If confirmed as DOL Inspector General, Congressman Anthony D'Esposito will help drive President Trump's mission to reform the federal bureaucracy and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.

These nominees have demonstrated they are committed to implementing President Trump's pro-worker, pro-family agenda. I proudly support their nominations and urge my colleagues to do the same.

With that, I recognize Senator Sanders.
