HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Adair County
Missouri Route 3 - September 2, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Stukey Cemetery Trail and Kohlmyre Trail near Millard between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 63 - September 10, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from Baltimore Street to 0.5 mile south of Route P between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route F - September 8, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Rural Dell Lane to Hereford Lane near Kirksville between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Audrain County
Route RA - September 10 - 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement from Route ZZ in Montgomery County to CR 756 in Audrain County between 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
Knox County
Route V - August 31, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route V Spur to Colony Woods Place between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route V - September 1, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Colony Woods Place to Route K between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 81 - September 8, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 579 to CR 479 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 24 - August 31 - September 3, LANE RESTRICTION for shoulder work from CR 857 to Route JJ between 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route AA - September 1, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations beginning at Route C and continuing 1000 feet east on Route AA between 6:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Missouri Route 161 - September 3, CLOSED for culvert replacement from Tower Road to Haflingers Road between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Route RA - September 10 - 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement from Route ZZ in Montgomery County to CR 756 in Audrain County between 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

Route PP - September 1, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 323 to CR 328 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route O - September 3, CLOSED for shoulder work at the intersection of Route O and Dow Trail between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Route W - August 31, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Missouri Route 168 continuing 0.50 mile south of CR 246 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Route W - September 1, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 246 to CR 248 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Route W - September 2, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 156 to CR 176 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Warren County
Route A - September 9, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route W to Powerline Road between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
