Impacts to Travel Due to Equipment Delivery

February 17, 2026 - ROCHESTER, MINN. - Due to the delivery of two large pieces of equipment, there will be block by block closures as the delivery moves along the corridor between the Heintz Center at RCTC and Mayo Clinic's Prospect Utility Plant near Central Park from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. both Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21.

Impacted areas during the rolling closure:

  • College View Road E from East Circle Drive NE to 19 Avenue SE
  • 19 Avenue SE from Collegeview Road E to East Center Street
  • East Center Street from 19 Avenue SE to Civic Center Drive NE
  • Civic Center Drive NE from East Center Street to North Broadway Avenue
  • North Broadway Avenue from Civic Center Drive to 3 Street NW
  • 3 Street NW from North Broadway to 3 Avenue NW

The following locations will be fully closed from 10:30 p.m. February 20 through 5 a.m. February 23

  • 3 Street NW from 3 Avenue NW to 1 Avenue NW
  • 2 Avenue NW from 3 Street NW to 2 Street NW

What to know:

  • No parking signs will be posted along the corridor in advance of the delivery. Improperly parked vehicles will be immediately towed.
  • Law enforcement will provide traffic control at impacted intersections.
  • Closures are expected to range from thirty to sixty minutes.
  • Allow extra travel time if passing through the area.

Please plan ahead and expect delays as crews work to safely transport equipment.
