On Demand: Supporting Maternal Mental Health ─ Region 7 Maternal Health ECHO® Session 4
Maternal mental health is a critical but often overlooked component of overall well-being for mothers and families. On Sept. 22, KHI held session 4 of the Region 7 Maternal Health ECHO series - Supporting Maternal Mental Health - that explored the emotional, psychological and social factors that shape maternal experiences across Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. Participants heard from clinical experts and community partners about practical approaches for early identification, compassionate support and integrated care that meets mothers where they are. The session highlighted culturally responsive strategies and community-driven models that can expand access and reduce stigma.
