Centering Equality: California’s LGBTQ+ Gubernatorial Forum with Equality California and Los Angeles LGBT Center

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Equality California, the nation's largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, together with the Los Angeles LGBT Center - the world's largest LGBTQ+ nonprofit organization - will host a nonpartisan California Gubernatorial Candidate Forum on Monday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. PT at the Center's Renberg Theatre in Hollywood. NBC4 and Telemundo 52 will serve as the livestream partners for the forum.

The live event will stream on nbcla.com, telemundo52.com, on the free NBCLA and Telemundo 52 mobile apps and YouTube channels, and on the stations' free 24/7 local news streaming channels NBC Los Angeles News and Noticias Telemundo California.

The event will be co-moderated by NBC4 News Anchor Colleen Williams and Politico's Dustin Gardiner.

WHAT:

This is a private event open to ticketed guests and credentialed members of the media.This will be one of the earliest and most substantive gubernatorial conversations focused on LGBTQ+ voters and the issues shaping California's future. The forum will convene seven gubernatorial candidates to address topics critical to California's LGBTQ+ community, including public safety, healthcare access, housing, education, and civil rights.

LGBTQ+ community leaders, political experts, and members of the media will be invited to attend in person, and the public will be able to watch via livestream.
