ATSU-ASDOH's Dr. Levine recognized by the American Laser Study Club

Robert Levine, DDS, director of laser dentistry and assistant professor at A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH), has been awarded the 2025 Kumar Patel Prize for outstanding contributions to CO2 laser dentistry education.

Awarded by the American Laser Study Club (ALSC), the Kumar Patel Prize recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional proficiency in laser surgery and advanced the field through their work as educators.

Dr. Levine graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1973 and joined the faculty at ATSU-ASDOH in 2009. With over 20 years of laser dentistry experience, Dr. Levine was instrumental in co-developing the first accredited laser curriculum at a U.S. dental school.

As director of laser dentistry at ATSU-ASDOH, Dr. Levine provides hands-on training to students, leads innovative laser research, and advances special care dentistry through laser applications.
