Discover the power of open education at a half-day, highly interactive online summit hosted jointly by Boise State University and the College of Western Idaho on Sept. 18, 2026. This event will bring together regional online faculty for an engaging mix of discipline-specific networking, practical "show and do" sessions, and insightful faculty spotlights. Why consider attending? Open Educational Resources (OER) implementation is a high-impact practice shown to benefit all students, not only in courses with OER, but beyond.
During the event, attendees can connect with colleagues from their discipline or the general education matriculation category to discuss current course materials, trade ideas and explore new collaboration opportunities. Participants will also dive into hands-on experiences with short, focused demonstrations, while hearing real-world success stories from Boise State and College of Western Idaho peers who are already using open education workflows.
