Mayor Bowser Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of 202Creates Month with the Second Annual 202CreatesCon

(Washington, DC) - On Monday, September 28, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment (OCTFME) will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of 202Creates Month at the Second Annual 202Creates Con, held at the new stateoftheart National Geographic Museum of Exploration.

Launched in 2016, 202Creates Month has become the District's signature celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship, design, performance, and innovation. Over the past decade, the Bowser Administration has supported thousands of creators, makers, musicians, filmmakers, and creative entrepreneurs across all eight wards - helping grow DC's creative economy from $3 billion to $15 billion, strengthening small businesses, jobs, and cultural vibrancy throughout the city.

This year's 202Creates Con brings together leaders in film, music, media, digital storytelling, arts, and entertainment for a one-day immersive experience that will feature panel discussions, fireside conversations, performances, interactive activations and networking opportunities with national industry leaders and local creative organizations.
