Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Ryzhenkov takes part in nationwide charity event "From the bottom of my heart"

On January 14, 2026, as part of a joint charitable campaign of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Belarus, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov, together with his spouse, visited the state institution "Minsk City Social Nursing Home 'Harmony'".

The charitable campaign for the Minsk City Social Nursing Home "Harmony" is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the sixth time and is a continuation of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Belarus to conduct a nationwide charitable campaign for elderly citizens "From the Bottom of the Heart" in our country.

The campaign was attended by the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan, the Vatican, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Kyrgyzstan, the Order of Malta, Pakistan, Palestine, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation, the offices of the UNDP and UNHCR, the CIS Executive Committee, and the EAEU Court.

The initiative was also joined by honorary consuls: Pavel Topuzidis (Greece), Alexander Zaitsev (Zambia), Andrei Chesnokov (Spain), Živorad Smiljković (Serbia), Ivan Chura (Thailand), Viktor Shevtsov (Philippines), Andrei Balabin (Chile), representatives of Belarusian and foreign media (Belteleradiocompany, ONT, CTV, Mir, BelRos, BelTA, SB news, Belarusian Radio, VGTRK, NTV, MIA "Rossiya Segodnya", RIA Novosti, TASS, etc.), the National Press Center, OJSC "BELAZ" and other partners.

In total, 24 embassies, 1 trade representation, 4 representative offices of international organizations, 7 honorary consuls, and 18 media outlets took part in the initiative. About 200 boxes and packages of various formats and sizes were collected.

During the visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke with the residents of the nursing home and also got acquainted with the organization of their daily life.


Speaking to the participants of the event, Maxim Ryzhenkov noted: "This is a very important campaign 'From the Bottom of the Heart', which was launched by the President of our state. Every year we come here with our big soul, the soul of a Belarusian, together with our friends and partners from other countries, so that the residents of the boarding home feel truly at home and feel care and attention. This is a clear example of the unity of the Belarusian people, when we try to help everyone who needs support."
