Chinese Consul General in Bandar Abbas Xu Wei Investigates Iranian Date Palm Industry

On Dec 23, Consul General Xu Wei went to Hajiabad of Hormozgan Province at the invitation of the Hormozgan Chamber of Commerce of Iran, investigated the date palm industry and interacted with local farmers.

Consul General Xu visited the date palm plantation and the production and package factory, listened to the farmer's introduction and learned about the cultivation of date palms and selling of date products. Xu said, China welcomes more quality agricultural exports from Iran. The Consulate General is ready to enhance communications with the Iranian side to facilitate cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
