Houston founders named winners for 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year…
Gaurab Chakrabarti and Sean Hunt, co-founders of Solugen, were named EY's 2023 Entrepreneurs of the Year. The award recognizes their work in developing a carbon-negative process that uses plant-based feedstocks to produce essential chemicals-offering a cleaner alternative to fossil fuel-based manufacturing.
In the coming year, Solugen plans to break ground on a 500,000 sq. ft. biomanufacturing facility in Marshall, Minnesota.
