Bettendorf Public Library Reschedules Stargazing Night to Thursday, September 24

September 10, 2026 - It's an opportunity for the stars to tell their story.
On Thursday, September 17, from 7-8:30 p.m., the Bettendorf Public Library will host the Popular Astronomy Club of the Quad Cities at Faye's Field for a unique look at the night sky using their telescopes and mobile observatory.
The Popular Astronomy Club of the Quad Cities is an organization for the education and promotion of the field of astronomy to the general public.
In addition to stargazing, event attendees can pick up a space-themed take-and-make craft for kids and check out the Library of Things Collection, which includes a stargazing kit with a telescope, an observer's guide, a moon map, a star target, as well as a celestial object finder with accessories.
This event is funded by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library. To learn more, visit the library's events webpage.
