Summary

American Family Insurance, a long-time supporter of American Family Children's Hospital, joins again with the Tauschers to make a 1:1 match for every donation made to the hospital's fundraiser, up to $50,000.

Wisconsin Badgers lead football analyst for the Badger Radio Network, co-host of ESPN's "Wilde and Tausch," and former Badger and Green Bay Packer offensive lineman, Mark Tauscher, along with his wife Sarah, are once again partnering with American Family Insurance to support American Family Children's Hospital in Madison and raise funds for a virtual toy drive.

American Family Insurance, a perennial supporter of American Family Children's Hospital, will contribute a dollar-for-dollar match for every donation received, up to $50,000, from now until December 31, 2025.

The Tauschers have taken part in similar campaigns with American Family Insurance in 2023 and 2024, both years' donations exceeding $50,000 and matched by American Family.

The virtual toy drive funds go towards the Child Life program, which provides toys and therapeutic supplies for kids' fun and comfort as they face stressful medical situations, and assist with the healing process.

"American Family has a strong commitment to championing the dreams of our communities through contributions that create lasting impact," said Yasir Kamal, vice president of communications and community engagement for American Family Insurance. "From our initial gift in 2003 which helped bring this world-class facility to Madison, to donating half the proceeds from the PGA TOUR Champions AmFam Champ each year, along with other contributions, we're proud to partner with Mark and Sarah in this effort to support American Family Children's Hospital and the world-class services it provides to children and families. We're also grateful to the community members whose donations have supported these fundraising efforts, now in year three."

The Tauschers have created a video message of support for American Family Children's Hospital that has been played on the Camp Randall Stadium video board during home games this season.

"We thank American Family Insurance once again for their generous support of our hospital and our mission to care for sick kids and their families," said Nikki Stafford, president of American Family Children's Hospital. "We are excited to partner with Mark and Sarah Tauscher and American Family Insurance to host our second virtual toy drive to benefit our Child Life program. This program positively impacts the lives of more than 5,000 children and their families by providing therapeutic play, toys, special events, and other programming to help sick kids feel better throughout the year."

The Tauschers are longtime supporters of American Family Children's Hospital. Mark was a regular visitor to the hospital while playing for the Badgers and the Green Bay Packers and Mark and Sarah are members of the American Family Children's Hospital Advisory Board.

"As a Wisconsin resident and Badger and Packer athlete, I'm well aware of the incredible work American Family Children's Hospital does in our community," said Mark Tauscher. "I'm proud to support this fundraising effort for the young patients of the hospital and I'm also grateful for American Family's pledge to again match contributions dollar-for-dollar."

American Family Children's Hospital, which opened in 2007, is a world-class facility with a Level 4 neonatal intensive care unit with more than 80 specialty care programs and 300 physicians and surgeons. It has treated more than one million infants, children and adolescents, and continues to be on the forefront of the most advanced medical care.

"Mark and I are parents of two children, and we know how fortunate we are to have access to this amazing healthcare facility right in our own backyard. We're proud to support the outstanding care teams at American Family Children's Hospital."
