The GW community gathered for food and fun to support the lacrosse and softball teams.

Students and other members of the GW community enjoyed a tailgate on the Mount Vernon Campus Saturday during lacrosse and softball games. (Sarah Hochstein/GW Today)
The George Washington University community came together on Saturday at the Mount Vernon Campus to cheer on the GW lacrosse and softball teams.
A classic BBQ cookout was hosted on the MVC Quad, complete with great food, yard games, fun giveaways and lots of Revolutionary spirit.
"Vernies" donned their best Buff & Blue attire to support the softball team in a double-header against the University of Dayton, and the Lacrosse team against George Mason University.
