Middle Road North of Interstate 80 Closing Monday, June 8
June 4, 2026 - Beginning Monday, June 8, 2026, the Iowa Department of Transportation is closing Middle Road north of Interstate 80 as crews begin the Spencer Creek Culvert Project.
During the closure, follow the marked detour route by taking Indiana Avenue to the north, Wells Ferry Road to the east, and Forest Grove Drive to the south (see below). This detour will be in place for the duration of the project, which is expected to be completed in fall 2026, weather permitting.
