MIA hosts Third Annual Guardians Appreciation Day lunch

(MIAMI, April 30, 2025) - Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava joined Miami International Airport and the Miami Airline Management Council, comprised of representatives from the airlines and service providers at MIA, to host the airport's Third Annual Guardians Appreciation Day lunch on April 30 for nearly 1,000 employees from the Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Homeland Security Investigations, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Miami-Dade Sherrif's Office, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, and the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. The Guardians Appreciation Day lunch recognizes employees responsible for frontline public safety and security at MIA.
