BlueCare Tennessee Earns a 4-Star NCQA Health Plan Rating

Plan recognized for delivering quality coverage and care to Tennesseans enrolled in TennCare and Medicaid

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2026) - BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee announced today that its BlueCare Tennessee (BlueCare) subsidiary earned a 4-Star rating in the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) 2026 Health Plan Ratings program. The plan, which serves Tennessee Medicaid members, received an overall score of 3.931.

NCQA Health Plan Ratings recognize health plans for their performance in areas such as clinical quality, member experience and customer service. Ratings are based on measures from the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS ® ), Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS ® ) surveys and NCQA accreditation standards.
