ARRESTS - UPDATE - GPD Investigates Homicide

GREENSBORO, NC (June 17, 2026) - Detectives with the Greensboro Police Department's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located and arrested three people Wednesday in connection with a recent homicide.

As a result of the investigation, the following were arrested:

  • A 15-year-old is charged with first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and felony conspiracy.
  • Deneah Howze, 19, is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
  • Latayshia Stewart, 36, is charged with accessory after the fact.

Homicide Detectives have also charged Martavion Logan, 20, with first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and felony conspiracy. Logan was arrested in Danville, Va. the day of the homicide and is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
