ASPPH is Seeking Peer Reviewers for a Public Health Reports Special Supplement

December 11, 2025

ASPPH is seeking Peer Reviewers for a forthcoming special supplement of Public Health Reports focused on the disease intervention workforce, including topics such as educational pathways, training models, credentialing, professional competencies, and workforce development innovations. Led by the ASPPH Center for Public Health Workforce Development, this effort advances the Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) Program and strengthens the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) nationwide workforce capacity to better serve communities.

As a Peer Reviewer, you'll gain valuable insight into this important public health initiative while applying your analytical and evaluative expertise. Peer reviewers play a critical role in ensuring the quality, rigor, and relevance of the scholarship featured in this supplement. Reviewers will evaluate manuscript clarity, methodological soundness, practical implications, and contributions to advancing the field.

We invite practitioners, researchers, educators, and workforce development experts with experience in disease intervention, communicable disease control, public health workforce training, applied public health practice, or related disciplines to indicate their interest by completing this Interest Form by December 19, 2025.
