Alameda County - Due to maintenance work and to ensure the safety of crews and the public, Caltrans will continue the following closures in the Posey Tube (Alameda-Oakland). These closures are needed to complete essential work within the available construction window.
**All work is weather dependent and subject to change**
Looking Ahead:
Closures planned for next week are pending and will be confirmed based on how work progresses this week.
During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Work includes repairing damaged concrete and improving the roadway surface on the Posey Tube bridge deck and approaches.
Be Work Zone Alert and expect travel delays.
Caltrans will update its Twitter page at https://X.com/CaltransD4 on the latest highway conditions, and drivers are encouraged to check out Caltrans Quickmap http://quickmap.dot.ca.gov/ Motorists can also receive 24/7 highway condition information statewide by calling 1-800-427-ROAD or 1-800-427-7623.
Caltrans thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as we continue to improve California's transportation network.
