Overnight Closures Scheduled for Posey Tube (State Route 260) for Maintenance Work

Alameda County - Due to maintenance work and to ensure the safety of crews and the public, Caltrans will continue the following closures in the Posey Tube (Alameda-Oakland). These closures are needed to complete essential work within the available construction window.

**All work is weather dependent and subject to change**

Nighttime Posey Tube Closures

Scheduled Full Closure: Tuesday (Feb 17)

  • Full Posey Tube closure from 11 PM to 5 AM

Scheduled Lane Closure and Full Closure: Wednesday (Feb 18) and Thursday (Feb 19)

  • Lane closure from 10 PM to 11 PM
  • Full Posey Tube closure from 11 PM to 5 AM
  • Lane closure from 5 AM to 6 AM

Looking Ahead:
Closures planned for next week are pending and will be confirmed based on how work progresses this week.

During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Work includes repairing damaged concrete and improving the roadway surface on the Posey Tube bridge deck and approaches.
