GRAVE SITUATION (Historic cemetery video)

Hannah Fuentes, a senior anthropology major from Fenton, is working with the nonprofit group Friends of Lansing's Historic Cemeteries to locate and identify unmarked graves in the capital city's North Cemetery. Many gravesite markings have been damaged or lost to weather and time. Using a technology called Ground Penetrating Radar, Fuentes is hoping she can confirm where those final resting places are. As the radar device moves along the surface, it sends radio waves underground to detect any large objects that might be buried below and reflect the image back.
