High School Students Invited to Apply for NASA-Supported STEAM Camp

Lincoln University of Missouri will co-host a free, weeklong STEAM summer camp July 6-12, 2026, at the University of Missouri, offering high school sophomores and juniors hands-on experience in emerging technologies and agriculture.

From drones and robotics to artificial intelligence and digital agriculture, high school students can explore emerging technologies this summer during a weeklong camp led by Lincoln University of Missouri in partnership with the University of Missouri. The program engages students in STEAM - science, technology, engineering, agriculture and mathematics - while highlighting related academic and career pathways.

Set for July 6-12, 2026, the camp gives students hands-on experience and guided instruction in agriculture, technology and related fields. The program also includes professional development and networking opportunities throughout the week.

The residential program takes place on the University of Missouri campus and is free for selected students. Eligible applicants must be current high school sophomores or juniors with an interest in STEAM and a commitment to attend the entire program. Application materials are due May 29, 2026, and selected students are notified by June 15.

Supported by NASA's Minority University Research and Education Project and the USDA's NextGen program, the camp is designed to deepen students' interest in STEAM fields and encourage future study and careers.
